Source Demystifying Food Origins — Master Character Compendium Botanical origin notes were checked against major botanical references where available, especially Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew: Plants of the World Online. This is a creative master document, not a final academic monograph; crop-by-crop source citations should be added before formal publication.
Artwork: 23 of 64 Guardians carry final crop imagery. Generated images are embedded only when the available file had a clear or reasonably provisional crop match. Ambiguous reused images were removed. Placeholders mark characters that need final 500 x 500 artwork before publication.
Where proceeds go
From Guardian to Garden
Proceeds from the Food Guardians collection are earmarked by policy. Sixty percent is reinvested directly into programs and community initiatives — including the hyper-localized, community-controlled farming and garden work these characters celebrate. No profit is distributed.
Energy-efficient by policy
Any minting uses energy-efficient blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, or Tezos), with third-party smart-contract audits before deployment.

Structured to avoid securities classification and to satisfy our 501(c)(3) obligations and digital-asset policy.
Culture, not extraction
Each Guardian is an archive of climate, care, and cultural decision-making — never a flattening of a single origin myth.
